Kingdom Hearts

When I first of heard Kingdom Hearts it was in a magazine that a friend bought downtown of highschool. When I looked on the pictures I saw Hades and Cloud hanging together in a dark place. First thing that came to mind was that it was some kind of creepy Mickey Mouse tree house where there is nothing but a lame storyline, and everything is happy and lovable with no killing. Was I wrong. In December around Christmas my favorite gaming cousin visited her moms house. Her mom was my aunt and she at the time lived across the street from us. I ran over there to show her Final Fantasy X because she was a big fan of Final Fantasy games. But when I got over there she was playing Kingdom Hearts that she rented from a store.

I sat there and asked her various questions like characters, storyline, and who's in it. Final Fantasy 7 and 8 were the only ones Kandace never played, she got to finishing the first mission in 8 and never touched 7. So she didn't know half of the characters.

As I sat there and watched Kandace was having troubles with some of the puzzles (I remember one being the one to open Merlin's Door.) After she left to get something to drink I quickly figure out the control system and solved the puzzle. When she came back I smiled and said "Solved it" after that she allowed me to have a fair share of playing the game. It was really fun and when I had to go home I begged Kandace if I could take it with me she said "Hell no get your own copy." I left wanting more. I couple of months later when I saved up enough money (Didn't have a job) I bought Kingdom Hearts and defeated it. I went to school bragging to my best gaming partner Brandon about my victory. Just for Doug to step in saying "Did you get the secret ending" I stopped and stared at him. "What ending?" He then explained there is a secret ending if you collect all the Dalmatians and seal all the worlds including Mount Olympus and Winnie the Pooh. And once again I started over from scratch to defeat and get the secret ending. And I loved it. It was a sneak peak of upcoming Kingdom Hearts 2.

I waited patiently for Kingdom Hearts 2 only to get Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories to come out. I played it just to find how disappointing it was it felt like playing the first one all over again accept with a card system that can be hard as hell to play if you have bad cards. The only thing I liked about it is the cloaked men like Axel and Riku's story I got after defeating the game.

But it paid off playing that game seeing how Kingdom Hearts 2 took place a year after the advents in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. So I understood what was going on unlike Brandon who gave up Chain of Memories after Neverlands world. I found the battle system a little harder at first to use compared to the first one, and I didn't understand this whole Roxas guy. But at the end of everything it all came together and I went bug eyed when fighting Xigbar who is my favorite Organization XIII member. Everything fell into place at the very end. I went over to Brandons house to brag about my awesome victory turns out Brandon also finished the game. We were talking about it when he said "Did you get the secret ending?" I paused. "Not again!" I thought froze in pain. Turns out you had to get 100% in the game to get the secret ending. I cried. I didn't get 100% in Final Fantasy X-2 I wont be able to get it now. Brandon sighed knowing this and showed me the secret ending. It was awesome but I really don't understand what is going on.

Hopefully the upcoming games will explain more about the whole storyline of Organization XIII, The Keyblade, The Worlds, Heartless, Nobodies, Roxas and Namine, and the words that Xigbar left Sora with.

Spoilers Don't watch if you haven't defeated Kingdom Hearts II.
Final Mix. My only hatred towards this game is that these never came here.

Destroy All Humans!

Destroy All Humans! Has to be one of my favorite games mostly for it's comedy that replies to corny jokes and ass kicking of the humans. One of the old jokes is that Crypto (The main character and alien of Destroy All Humans!) is that he is green. Even though it clearly shows hes a very light gray colour but everyone keeps point him out as green. I guess for the reason as Little Green Men.

There seems to be two games coming out Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed not much is known about this seeing how an IGN trailer was just realease yesterday about it. And Destroy All Humans! Path Of The Furon from what I heard is set in the 70's. I wonder what will happen to the Destroy All Humans! When they reach 1990's? Will they go all the way to 2000? Or will it just end there?

Either way I am looking forward to both games.

Devil May Cry 4

Devil May Cry 4 is doing the same mistake a lot of games do, they bring in a new character when everyone is still use to the first main character. Then without much warning they're usually crap, crappy personalties, crappy stories, crappy fighting, crappy resemblance to the main character. It happened before in:

Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty, you think you're going to play Solid Snake, but instead you play Raiden. The only time Metal Gear Solid actually got away with changing the character was in Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. But that's because of the story line which I don't feel like giving out much spoilers of.

Then there is Chrono Cross who not only gave a whole line of new characters they also screwed up the entire story. Bringing in different world map even though its the same time era that Crono is from. But they tease you by showing Crono, Lucca, and Meryle and showing the Chrono Trigger.

Then there is Devil May Cry 2 which everyone hates, and I don't blame them. It's a really bad game, with a new female character that takes over for most of the time. Leaving anger amongst the Dante fans. As well as Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition where you get to play as Virgil but it's basically just doing the same missions and stages over again but as Virgil waste of time.

But now they are at it once again Devil May Cry's newest character is Nero, who looks and fights a lot like Dante. If they go through all this trouble to make a Dante look a like why not just use Dante? I and everyone else keeps thinking that he is related to Dante. I really can't see him being Dantes kid, because Dante can't be more then in his early 30's if that and if he is who's the mother? There is only three females in the game series, and only two that appear in the trailers of Devil May Cry 4 they are Trish and Lady. Hopefully they do something that will stun a lot of people so I don't lose faith in Devil May Cry series.

The only thing that Devil May Cry kept original is the awesome game music. The new theme for Devil May Cry 4 is great but also the fights are pretty good too.

Heavy Rain

About a two years ago Quantic Dream released their first trailer teaser of Heavy Rain (Working Title). It has a woman with black hair auditioning the part of a heart broken woman who's husband was found cheating on her.

By the looks of it this they are trying to go for a realistic look to this game, and at some parts they succeed.

But others I can't help but cringe at her faces, trying to make her more real just make her look like some kind gross retarded donkey.

Quantic Dream is the same company that made Indigo Prophecy, even though at the end it left our heads scratching the game play itself was something new and joyful to experience. Everyone is wondering if it will be the same thing with this game, or will it have something completely different. The only thing to do now is wait for new trailer or new pictures to appear to shed some light on this very confidential game.

Old McDonald Had A Farm

This ain't no Harvest Moon, this is a game you are the evil industrial company McDonald's. Your goal is to gain as much profit as possible while trying to keep the protesters and the Mad Cow Disease away. There isn't much to say about this game. It has it's moments where you can't help but laugh at some of the drawings, and you can kind of figure this game is made by some kind of Anti-Ronald as well as other things when I looked on their main page.

In the game you have 4 areas you need to take care of to gain profit.

The Farmlands.

The Feed Lot.

The Fast Food Restaurant.

And The McDonald's Head Quarters.

There's always ways to boost sales like bribing politicians and Health Boards, as well cheap labor and Lies!

Enemies are everyone! Please everyone so you don't get sued and go bankrupt.

Game Overs. Scary Ronald.

The main site's explanation for this game as well as other comes as quoted.
"Molleindustria aims to reappropriate video games as a popular form of mass communication. Our objective is to investigate the persuasive potentials of the medium by subverting mainstream video gaming clichè. Anyway you can just play this stuff without thinking too much about it."

Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk

Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk is in the making right now. It is the sequel of Tales of Symphonia and is rumored to have happened 2 years later after the whole war of Cruxis Crystals and the Desians.
Not much is known about it and there is only little bits of clips on Youtube of this game. But so far as I know it's going to be on the Wii and you get to see appearances of Lloyd as it shows on one trailer.

Hopefully it comes here unlike Tales of Rebirth and so far Tales of Tempest which both seemed to have never made it to the West.

LMAO

"In October 2006, Thompson sent a letter to Midway Games, demanding they cease and desist selling the latest game in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, claiming that the game was illegally profiting on his likeness, because gamers could use the Kreate a Fighter option to make a character who looked like Jack Thompson. Midway has not ceased distribution of the game." wikipedia.org

Defeated Bully

Just defeated Bully a couple of mins ago, it was a really good game. The only things I didn't like about it would probably be some of the quests, the collection of all 75 rubber bands (Too Many) and also the boss fight was really really easy. It should have been a lot better then it was. What I loved was a lot of the missions they were really fun to do.

But all in all it was a good game, even though at first I didn't much approve of it because it being made by the same company that created GTA. So I dismissed the idea of this game being nothing more then a kiddies version of it. Even now I really don't know what came through my mind when I bought this game for twenty dollars but I am glad I did. It is a great game to have in my collection.

Me and My Katamari Commercials

I seen a few commercials out there where they ripped off the idea from the Katamari games. Mostly just how they make the ball like figure that picks up everything. The most popular one is the insurance commercial where a guy trips and starts to pick up everything from his fall.
But in the end it breaks up showing everyone who was caught in the mess to be very mad at that one man (How do they even know it was him?)

The other commercial is one about a serious matter made funny, it's mostly about the Aids outbreaks in Africa. Someone made this himself and posted it on Youtube a year ago. I saw it a while back when it was first posted but forgot all about it until I saw this commercial on TV. I like how everyone ignores the giant ball of people passing them, just like that Katamari games. But these people aren't doing anything weird like riding a giant panda or lifting a house.

Enemies Into Lovers

I've been playing Bully for a while now, I am not that far more then likely half way through. In most of chapter 1 I had one huge problem, the Bully group. Unlike the Jocks or the Greasers, these guys are everywhere and always ready to attack me. Every morning I wake up and the min I leave my bedroom there they are 3 or 4 of them kicking my ass. But in the end I always win, it was always this one blonde that seems to be everywhere ruining my locker picking or he would throw dead rats at me.

So whenever I saw him he was the first one I would attack, but once chapter 1 was over all Bullies were on my side. It Christmas day when I just got this dorky Christmas sweater and was running around town getting money. I got back to my dorm to go to bed when I saw him... He was picking on a nerd I think it was Algie.

I thought I should atleast do one good deed seeing how it was Christmas. I then said a nice thing to him, he then greeted me. I then told him another then he then said "I'm a star, I like getting presents." I thought it was weird so I gave him some flowers hoping to start a fight. But without any hassle he accepted. He then said "I'm hot. You're hot. Let's make out." My mouth dropped "You got to be shitting me!" I said as I notice the kiss action at the corner of my screen. So I pressed it and sure enough those two made out. When it was done he said "I'm a player." I pissed myself laughing. Then did it again just for kicks. So that's the end of my story the cool thing about it, is that after you make out with him you can get him to help you fight people who attack you.

Johnny Sasaki

Found this video a while back ago, it's pretty good and funny at some parts. The only things I didn't like was that the character of Johnny mumbled a lot so it was hard to understand him. Also a lot of the areas were really dark so you couldn't see much. This is a small clip in the eye's of Johnny Sasaki from the Metal Gear Solid series. He is well known for his bad stomachs and worse luck as a soldier.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots, Johnny Sasaki plays a large part in the game (Instead of being the guardsmen when Snake gets captured). As he now resides with Meryl Silverburghs team. Though he doesn't seem like he knows much by the way he acts and his lack of knowledge in the battlefield from the trailers I seen so far.

There is one trailer which is fairly old where Johnny seems to be the only one who isn't affected by Foxdie. Or so it seems to be. As the rest of his group and the others around him begin to act crazy, rolling around, laughing, fighting with each other, while Johnny is trying to get Meryl to snap out of it.

The funny part is one of the newer trailers where they finally declared the soldier in Meryls group as Johnny. In it they do the same old routine as they did in Metal Gear Solid. He holds up Snake, Snake tells him how much of a rookie he is. Johnny says that hes a ten year vet. I guess it's a small hidden joke seeing how Johnny has been around for ten years since Metal Gear Solid was released.

I doubt though that this IS the same Johnny as in the first Metal Gear Solid. It's more or less because he seems a lot younger so I am guess he's in his late 20's. So the same one from Metal Gear Solid is probably Metal Gear Solid 4s Johnny's dad. Seeing how all the first born sons are named Johnny as they detailed in a hidden video in Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater.

Despite all reason and doubt they do however carry on the same tradition that Johnny will have moments of weakness where he has to find a place to relieve himself. I really don't know if this will be in the game or if it's just a little teaser for the fans. Either way I am really looking forward to this game, and seeing if this IS the final installment in the Metal Gear Solid series. Or is there a series after this one with a different title such as Metal Gear Johnny.

Koreans Music Video Of Advent Children

Very creepy Korean video that they do that has the same resemblance to Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.
