Justice For All

Been playing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice for All. It's a really good game despite a lot of typos in the game. I just finished the Circus and just started the interviews for the next chapter. This is a music video I found that I thought it was pretty good.

Welcome To Silent Hill

A week ago I defeated Silent Hill Origins, the game was really good and it gives everyone a small understanding of what happened the night of Alyssa's half re birthed. The game circles around a truck driver by the name of Travis Grady. He planned to pass through the small town, but just like so many he had a dark past that the small town hungered for.

The ideas from Silent Hill 4: The Room that made it so your weapons break after so many uses made this game a challenge at points. Some of the camera angles were a pain in the ass but all in all it was a good game. They also have it so you can throw stuff at monsters including small TVs which made me laugh because it reminded me of the time Angela beated a monsters ass using a tv near by, in Silent Hill 2.

There was a huge glitch in it where I noticed through the internet that a lot of people also suffered with. The sound would do a lot of odd things for a lot of people for me the radio would cut out as well as the monsters sounds and my own footsteps making it really hard for me to move around not knowing what I will run into. The only way I found to get rid of the glitch is to restart the whole game by going back to Home on your PSP and reselecting the game erasing the glitch. But unless there is a save point near by I found that I either used a lot of items or died trying to find one.

Unlike previous Silent Hill games where going to the Other World was random and unable to get out until certain conditions were fulfilled. In Silent Hill Origins Alyssa gives Travis powers over the mirrors where by simply touching them you can go to the Other World by your own will.

The music in the game was really good and it gave me the spooky sensation of Silent Hill that I missed as well as the monsters moans and random noises.

The Butcher is the Silent Hill Origins Pyramid Head. But unlike Pyramid Head The Butcher serves little to no purpose. He is just a monster that goes around stalking you but never really attacking. He seems to only "butcher" monsters that he captured in Kitchens or the butcher shop itself.

The thing I like to do is the commands you get to use when a monster captures you, instead of taking it like a bitch you can fight back by pressing buttons that appear on the bottom of the screen. This makes it so you can fight against even the most toughest monsters and take little to no damage.

A few of the bosses you fight come back as monsters you see in the streets of Silent Hill which I shook my head at. The Bosses are suppose to be unique and different from the average ones you see on the street. But instead the creators of the game got lazy and threw them in to fill the streets with previous boss monsters.

The only thing I wish they did was to explore more of Silent Hill, for a long time I just want to explore the whole town without having a cliff or barricade interfering with my exploration. But I can't ask for much for the PSP hopefully with the larger and more powerful system of Playstation 3 they will be able to satisfy my need to see it all in Silent Hill 5.

All in all this is a really good game it even has the multiple endings and a UFO ending to top it all off. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Silent Hill series.

Been A While

I've been working and playing Final Fantasy XI a lot, I got my White Mage to level 38 and my Dragoon to level 53. Haven't been doing any hardcore leveling just walking around talking to the Linkshell. I installed Treasures of Aht Urhgan and do a lot of Besieges to past the time. I bought Wings of the Goddess the new expansion for Final Fantasy XI but still have not installed it. I do not plan to install it anytime soon until I am at least level 60 Dragoon.

Hopefully starting the New Year I will be able to spend more time at home working on my games and this blog as well as other things. This job is a lot better then previous jobs I had and I hope I can remain there for as long as I need to.
