Stalkers

In quite a few horror games there tends to be "Stalkers" that roam the areas you roam an chase you sometimes never leaving you long enough for a breather. Stalker type monsters first appeared for me in the Clock Tower series such as Scissorman and Sledgehammer. Then in Silent Hill 2 with Pyramid Head, and Resident Evil with Mr. X and Nemesis.
I find the game more appealing knowing there is no safe place to rest, keeping moving staying on your feet and never look back. It's these kinds of emotions that cause you to panic at times and making it hard to think properly and even harder to do actions knowing someone is standing right there ready to kill you.

In most of the games I named you are given choices such as Resident Evil 3 where you can hide, run or be really destructive with your opponent. Such as the beginning in front of Raccoon City Police Station where you are given a choice either to run inside or fight. Choosing to run inside is the safest bet seeing how you just saw one of your comrade die in a painful way from Nemesis's harsh tentacle whip. But to stay and fight would lead to your death unless you are either quite skilled with in the games department or quite skilled in the cheats.

In a lot of other games though such as Clock Tower giving the option to fight is not available to the very end in some cases. Best thing to do is run and hide hoping they wont see you and not to make too much noise so they can hear you (I learned that the hard way in Clock Tower 3.)

Stalkers are an excellent way to keep you on your feet in horror games giving you panic and fear is what horror games are about. Sadly though you don't see much of them anymore hopefully when knew horror games come out on Wii, PS3, and 360 it will be just as frightful as the older games and series.

Rule of Rose

Rule of Rose, just as twisted as Alice in Wonderland.

It's Wonderland

The Inside look of Alice.

I grew up watching such movies as Alice in Wonderland. With so many things that are now used to describe life with this story. Such as The Matrix it isn't too hard to imagine that someone like American McGee would make a twisted version of his own.

When I first played this game I wasn't good at video games on PC, and I wasn't use to the WASD control pad so I found playing the game very hard. Sadly though my flaky sister borrowed it and I never seen it in 3 years. I finally got it back just recently but I was no longer in high school where having a video game was considered a blessing. Now I don't have time with all the other games I have and the little room I have on my PC (Need to clean my computer of files.) I will someday return to twisted Wonderland to give it one more shot. Hopefully around Halloween so it has a better feel for the games atmosphere.

My characters name on the other hand ALICExia isn't from this game or any relations to the game. It is my middle name and my great grandmothers name that I was named after. I treasure this middle name as much as the memories of my great grandmother so I use this name a lot throughout fantasy games or video games for that matter that would allow a long name like Alicexia (Curse you Pokemon Pearl!).

The Sims 2

Been playing The Sims 2 for the PSP it's a fun game about a weird town with every kind of horror aspect from Zombies, Werewolves, ghosts, and evil super villains. It is a game I can really get into and have a fun time playing and doing the missions when they come up.

The game starts out as you are driving your car trying to escape the green diamond that controls your character. Giving the indication that they want liberty from the first Sims game. Your car breaks down at a gas station and while you meet the locals your car that was in the car shop near by gets abducted and disappears possibly from aliens. So you buy a house from this girl and live there with the house maid and two ghosts. The point of the game is to learn about what is happening around the small town and do missions.

It is a lot harder then in the first Sims game, for now there is a fear, want and sanity to deal with along with the other needs such as eating and sleeping. It can be hard seeing how the wants are random and some of them you cannot accomplish without certain things. Such as Woo Hoo AKA sex! The only way you can get it is having someone as your lover and finding a double bed which all houses have except two.

At one point in the game they talk about how people die in this place either from catching on fire, starving to death, or someone removed the ladder from the pool. All common jokes of the original Sims game for those are some of the ways you can kill off your Sims.

The only thing I don't like about this game is the loading everything you do loads for a long time. And it freezes and lags like anything if I didn't know better I would think I am playing this online with AOL as my internet provider. It's a game you really need patients for if you don't have it then I recommend that you don't play this game.

Birthday / Phoenix Wright

Just defeated Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney- Justice For All. It was a really hard game but I managed to get to the end, I managed to get the good ending through lots of thinking and knowledge. I made the right choices and in the end got a really heart filled ending. I thought the ending was awesome and well put.

As such today is my birthday I am now 21 years old. I haven't been doing anything except lazing around and playing Phoenix Wright. I have nothing special planned because I work the rest of the week. Parties are too much trouble, right now I am trying to get my Summoners Job on Final Fantasy XI while I played Phoenix Wright at the same time. I need to find the weather of fire in order to get all the colours of the rainbow. But it's a lot harder then it looks, so far fire is the only element I am having trouble getting. But I have all day and I will continue looking for Fire weather.

The Warriors

I remember when The Warriors game first came out and how hyped up it was. I don't know much about the movie nor the book. I only have a small idea about the whole story. So until I am able to get a hold of the movie or book. I will only be talking about the game itself. Hopefully later on I compare it to the movie. When I play The Warriors it reminds me of the adult version of Bully. Despite The Warriors coming out before the Bully a lot of the game play and controls were the same. Such as tagging/spray paint, fighting, and Next Mission icons.

At times the game can be very fusterating with the constant fighting, and Boss fights. All I can recommend is to try and figure out the strategy and clues the game leaves. Cause not all bosses can die from Health Deplete.

The only thing I don't approve of is that the only way you can heal or revive your fallen comrades is to heal them with drugs called "Flash" that you buy at a dealer for $20.00. I know its an adult game, but using drugs with not much after effect (If there is one).

This is one of the game I agree that it is rated M, with a lot of violence, language and sexual behavior. It's a game not a lot of people will agree to play I was one of them for a time.

Gaming Risa

I love this anime called Lovely Complex for all it's funny and outrages characters. My favorite character being Koizumi Risa.
She is really tall and despite the show being about her and her love issues throughout the show you will see her a couple of times addicted to games.

Straight from the very first episode it shows her worrying about her video game monsters in a dream that she wakes up from in school. And she even bets on a new video game that she could get a date before her rival.

At one point she even believes that the teachers aide is a video game character and falls for him. Hoping that she could forget about her one true love. And does a lot of questionable things for her favorite video game character look a like.

Her happy go lucky attitude and her aggressive violent behavior makes her one of my favorite anime characters.
I wish there was more characters her like her instead of ditzy ones I would like to see a lot more tomboyish females in anime and TV series.

Memories Of Final Fantasy XI

It's now 2008 and it has now been a year since I played Final Fantasy XI Online. It is a really amazing game and there is something about it that draws you in. Despite it being hateful towards you and the things you love. This game can be really fun and enjoyable.
