I went over to my friends house and decided to play Army Of Two. After 8 hours we finally manage to defeat the 5 stages of the game. The game was far challenging for me then most games, mostly because I always fly solo. I am also not the most rational when it comes to hard decision making and Army Of Two is very unforgiving.
Oddly enough I found shields to be my best friend throughout the game. They gave me the perfect cover and hold out long enough to ram each person in my path. With my friend taking all the high grounds to make powerful weapons to manage a good shot. I on the other hand was more worried about pimping out my weapon with gold and silver casing and diamond encrusted bullets.
Don't get me wrong I did do my share a lot to help out I mainly kept the aggro on me as my friend finds a better position. Mostly when it comes to bosses I would stay the farthest away to and shoot to get his attention as my friend moves in with the grenades and bullets. There was some questionable parts when the enemies would do 360 spins shooting off a couple of rounds.
Salem and Rios are two for the comedy. If they aren't slapping the back of each others heads or using their guns to play air guitar. They are giving hard time to each other on the field. From tripping to pushing and tumbling each other. You question if they would kill each other if it wasn't for the money.
I never played it solo and sadly I cannot find a cheap pre-played version of it in EB Games yet. So I really don't know how the AI responds but I heard it's pretty good. My friend and I are hoping for the next Army of Two game, but how will they name it? Army Of Two 2? Or is there going to be a title under it? We will be very surprised if there is no sequel.
Today I am going to order Army Of Two: Dirty Money the graphic novel.
