I'm Going To Pass On This Boss Fight. Thanks.

I’ve been playing Countdown Vampires for a while; I tried to excuse the Resident Evil feel to it. But enough was enough when they actually presented me with a Hunter clone. I threw my hands in the air, and the controller on the ground, when the Hunter gave me the famous jump and head decapitation Resident Evil Hunter is famous for.

But seriously, this game isn’t even scary the genetic mutated bosses in the game are a joke. I mean what kind of game actually let’s you leave a battle? I first noticed is when a cut-scene happen when a giant mutant mosquito, sucking on some dead guy below. This walking bloodsucker greets the main character Keith. I thought, this is going to be a good fight; I started to fire my gun. I then ran down the ladder near the door I came from, all of a sudden he was gone, nowhere to be seen. I decided this was bull crap so I left through the door, and went on with my mission.

Since then I’ve been laughing, and conserving my ammo for something that seems more of a threat maybe a puppy or an angry mailman. I don’t even care about the vampires in this game; they aren’t that big of a threat to strike fear into my heart each time I see them. I read that there are three endings, Good, Bad, and Special. If I ever do decide to pick up the game again, I will gladly take any ending I am handed. I probably will get a bad ending, I don’t help any of the vampires turn back to human, and I run from everything.

At the beginning they ask for your blood type, I didn’t know it at the time, but that indicates the level of difficulty. It doesn’t even tell in the manual about it, I had to look it up online for the answers. Keith at the beginning of the cut-scene trailer looked really cool in his coat, but the minute shit hits the roof he takes off his jacket to present to the crowd his manly chest. I could complain about this game more, but a lot of people had done this when it first came out. I was lucky to only found it at a local pawnshop for ten dollars; I would hate to be the sap that paid full price.
Speaking of price, the game offers a lot of gambling sessions for you to win money to buy healing items. Nice gesture for someone who is bleeding to death just to have lady luck on his side and everything will be okay.
